Govt aiming to balance agricultural production with consumption
Laos is targeting increased agricultural production to balance growing consumption, ensuring sustainable socio-economic development for the nation into the future. The country is currently importing more goods than it produces, experts from the Department of Planning under the Ministry of Planning and Investment reported recently at a Sustainable Development Goals meeting held in Vientiane on sustainable consumption and production (SDG12).
